Hako has set a new standard when it comes to ticking the 'green' box as the only European cleaining machine manufacturer to have the EMAS accreditation, the increasingly influential Environmental Management and Audit Scheme.

EMAS is a voluntary initiative designed to improve companies' environmental performance. Its aim is to recognise and reward those organisations that go beyond the minimum legal compliance and continuously improve their environmental operation.

Hako had to ensure that its products perfrom in the most environmentally concious way as well as ensuring that the actual production methods employed to build the machine are also extremely eco-friendly.
